Web address terms

These terms cover a web address (such as yourgarage.co.uk) that LocalMotor registers for your business.

The address is yours

We register the address in your business’s name and details, as you give them on the Confirm screen. The UK registry, Nominet, may check those details. If it asks for proof, we’ll tell you what’s needed and by when. LocalMotor registers and manages the address for you through a registrar; we are not the owner.

What we do

We point the address at your LocalMotor website, add the padlock (a secure connection), and keep both working while you’re a customer. Your LocalMotor link and printed QR codes keep working and send people to the new address.

Paying and renewing

A founding garage code pays for the first year. We renew the address every year and remind you a month before. If you leave LocalMotor, we’ll help you move the address to you, and you can keep it.
